Rochelle G. Skolnick

Rochelle Skolnick works in all areas of the Firm's practice and has handled labor arbitrations, administrative proceedings and state and federal lawsuits. She is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois and in the federal courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois. Rochelle currently serves as Counsel to the Symphonic Services Division of the American Federation of Musicians. Before law school, Rochelle was a professional violinist and served as a union representative. She received the Mary Collier Hitchcock Prize for her article, Control, Collaboration or Coverage: The NLRA and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra Dilemma (20 Wash. U. J. L. & Pol'y 403). She has presented seminars on labor and employment law topics, including the duty of fair representation, subcontracting, sexual harassment and health care reform. She has taught the Business of Music at a community college and volunteers with St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts. Rochelle received her undergraduate degree from the Eastman School of Music and her law degree from Washington University where she served as Executive Notes & Projects Editor of the Journal of Law & Policy.
